Chrome Extension

The SageTube Chrome Extension makes it easy to add YouTube videos to your Experts directly from YouTube.

Installing the Extension

1. Visit SageTube on the Chrome Web Store
2. Click "Add to Chrome"
3. Confirm by clicking "Add extension"
4. The SageTube icon will appear in your browser toolbar

Signing In

1. Click the SageTube icon in your toolbar
2. Click "Sign in with Google"
3. Authorize the extension to connect to your SageTube account

Once signed in, the extension will remember your session.

Using the Extension

When you're watching any YouTube video:

1. Click the SageTube icon in your toolbar (or look for the "Add to SageTube" button on the video page)
2. Select which Expert you want to add the video to
3. Click "Add to SageTube"
4. A progress indicator shows the transcription status
5. Once complete, the video is searchable in your Expert

The extension works on individual video pages and can quickly add content to your knowledge base without leaving YouTube.

Troubleshooting

If the extension doesn't appear on a video page, try refreshing the page. Make sure you're signed in to both YouTube and the SageTube extension.
