Managing Your Account

Manage your SageTube profile, preferences, and security settings from your Account Settings page.

Accessing Account Settings

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
  2. Select "Account Settings"
  3. Navigate between tabs: Profile, Security, Preferences, Billing

Profile Settings

Update Your Information:

  • Display name
  • Email address (requires verification if changed)
  • Profile photo
  • Time zone (affects billing and usage reports)

Changes are saved automatically.

Security Settings

Password Management:

If you signed up with email and password (not Google):

  1. Go to the Security tab
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter and confirm your new password
  4. Click "Update Password"

Google Sign-In:

If you use Google sign-in, your password is managed by Google. You can add a password to your SageTube account from the Security tab if you want both options.

Two-Factor Authentication (coming soon):

We're adding 2FA support for enhanced account security.

Email Preferences

Control which emails you receive:

  • Product updates and feature announcements
  • Usage notifications (balance low, processing complete)
  • Marketing emails and tips
  • Billing receipts

Billing receipts cannot be disabled for compliance reasons.

Language and Region

Set your preferred language and region for the SageTube interface. This affects:

  • UI language
  • Date and time formats
  • Currency display in billing

Session Management

View active sessions and sign out from all devices from the Security tab. This is useful if you've lost a device or want to reset all active logins.
